The game Der Blaue Drache (german for The Blue Dragon) is the first game I ever made.
I developed it in 2005 while learning C++ with the book C++ für Spieleprogrammierer by Heiko Kalista. The source code is awful (you can download the game and see for yourself), but it became a playable little game.
Der Blaue Drache is a role-playing text game (german language only) and runs in the Windows Console. You can fight against your foes with a turn-based system similar to The Dark Eye, buy some weapons and armors and experience a short story.
